It happens to be Thursday!

Hi Hi Hi!

Thursday today people! 🙂 Ain’t that cool! In another 2 more sleeps I’ll be hopping on an airplane to go to Auckland! 🙂 I haven’t been to Auckland for some months now so it would be very very nice to get back up there for a wee break. The last time I was in Auckland was in January and well… it’s July now so it’s been almost 7 months, and apart from when she came on closing night, this will be the first proper chance I get to see my Mum since then. I do sometimes feel pretty terrible living on the opposite end of the island to my lovely Mum, but that’s life and everyone is where they need to be at this moment in time.

Also, need to think about some other things, like situation with the boyfriend and his eating habits, I really don’t feel I can stay quiet about it for too much longer, it’s just going to make me nuts in the long run. Also been thinking about getting my hair re-styled and maybe cut and coloured, I think it’s time for a change on the whole hair front, so I just need to have a wee word to my dear Mummy about how to go about it and what she thinks would look good on me and stuff like that.

Anywho, shall I get on with it?

Breakfast: Yoghurt and Muesli with a cup of coffee.

Lunch: Sushi (about 5-6 pieces)

Dinner: Chicken Cordon Bleu with potatoes and salad.

I think today was a good day, I was told to not have a big breakfast so I could fit in my sushi, so I really don’t think I ate that much today. I did do my exercise programme I found a few moments to step out and have a few moments to myself to do that. I’ve also found that it’s definitely getting a heck of a lot easier. I can do the calf raises without clinging on for dear life which is actually such a relief, and it’s easier to do the burpees and I can do a proper abdominal bridge now, it’s as hard as anything, but it’s a lot easier now, so no more modified downward facing dog! YAY! 🙂 I think the only negative thing I can say about all the exercises tonight is that my pants fell down too many times! 😛

Anywho, nighty night! sleep tight! Don’t let the bed bugs bite! 🙂

Wonderous Wednesday!

Howdy folks!

Sorry I took so long! I’m still at the boyfriend’s place and his father has come around for his Wednesday night dinner… he tends to hang around for an awfully long time, so trying to not be too rude and duck away for a quick 5 minutes is harder than it looks. So, I might just do a really short blog post just to say what I’ve been up too and all that. Been trying really hard to be good surrounded by a family of bad eaters… It’s very very difficult but I’m trying so hard, and there are just way too many obstacles, but I’m doing my best to just climb right over them.

In other news one of my best friends older sisters had her baby this morning, how cute! Saw a few pictures of him over on Facebook, reasonably sized baby looking super healthy and unbelievably cute, so may have to invite myself over one day and introduce myself to the new nephew! 😛 Cuteness overload!

Anywho, shall I do a debrief of what happened today?

Breakfast: Yoghurt and Muesli with a cup of coffee (neither the milk or yoghurt was a lite option, the milk was dark blue top… which I’m not overly fond of on a good day, but I can’t ask them to make changes in their milk drinking habits just for me.)

Lunch: Risotto with Chorizo and Parmesan (we had lunch out at a cafe called The Larder, I thought it was beautiful, but apparently the general consensus is that we aren’t going to be going there again… I really have no idea why)

Dinner: Pickled Pork with Scalloped Potatoes, broccoli, cauli flower, peas and brussels sprouts (again… the only person eating them…)

Dessert: Rhubarb and Apple Crumble with custard (it’s very hard to say no to my boyfriends Mum… so I told her to give me just a tiny bit to taste… that was a humungous great big bowl full and I’m so full I really don’t think I’ll need any breakfast…)

As far as the exercising front goes… we didn’t get done eating dinner until well after 9pm which was a shame coz that meant it was too late to do my exercises, I could have done it before dinner but it was a bit hard with his Dad there and everything and I was trying to help with dinner as well, so it wasn’t as easy as I’d thought it would be today. However, with that having been said, I helped with the paper run today so I did a lot of walking around with them… up hills and down hills, up stairs and down stairs… I didn’t break a sweat but it was still exercise so it wasn’t a complete waste of time either, and afterwards, everyone was complaining about how sore and tired they were… and I’m barely even sweating and still have all of my lung capacity, I’m quite shocked at the lack of fitness on there part… I don’t know for how much longer I can be silent about it… I need some help with that…

Officially on holiday…

Hey gals and pals! ❤

How is everyone doing this very fine yet unfeasibly cold evening? I'm fantastic, apart from being cold. Anywho, I'd firstly like to say sorry for not posting last night especially knowing that last night was supposed to be weigh in night (don't panic, I got on the scales this morning!) I'm now officially on holiday so I was just trying to catch up with some people that I haven't seen for four weeks during the Witches season so I guess it's another post of doing 2 days worth of eating activities.

Anywho, so I've left Titahi Bay for the meantime, and have gone to Miramar to stay with my lovely boyfriend and his family before I go off to Auckland to visit my Mum for a week. It's about time I went up to Auckland, apart from closing night, which was the night that Mum came to Witches, I hadn't seen my Mother since January and I was feeling pretty awful about that, so I'm pretty glad that I'm going back up there for a week, to see my lovely Auckland pals and have a bit of R&R and all that jazz… So I'm looking forward to that I think that would be quite nice.

Anywho, shall I get on with it?

Monday:
Breakfast: Banana, Yoghurt (99% fat free) and Muesli made with trim milk. Also a cup of coffee made with trim milk and a couple of glasses of water.

Lunch: A McChicken Combo (which Bryce had upsized to Large… I was against this occurrence… and couldn't even eat it all, plus I really don't like Coke…)

Dinner: Slow Cooked Venison stew with Mashed Potato and steamed veges.

On the exercise front for Monday, even though I said I would get back into the programme… I had completely forgotten about it, however, I helped them with their paper run so there was a bit of walking around which I hope would make up for it. Fingers crossed! Moving on…

Tuesday:
Breakfast: damnit… I missed it! 😦 Bad Girl! Although I did have a cup of coffee it still doesn't make up for a complete lack of eating breakfast! 😦

Lunch: Three Pepper Chicken Subway with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions, capsicum and olives with Chipotle dressing.

Dinner: Slow cooked Venison stew with Mashed Potato and steamed veges (yes it happened twice… no you don't have deja vu)

On the exercise front! Yay! I lived up to my promise and have gotten back into the exercise programme YAY! 😛 Just once through though, I thought I might give my body the chance to remember how to do things before increasing it to twice through next week, now I promise that I will do that as expected.

Now, results from the weigh-in…
Weight is: 79kgs (still…)

Not too happy about the fact that I'm still 79kgs after how many weeks? So I'm glad that I've gotten back into the proper exercise programme and I WONT let my boyfriends Mum corrupt me with fatty foods and chocolate and all that jazz! I've GOT to make this weight shift…

It’s all over!

Hi Hi Hi! 🙂

I’m sorry that I’m late in doing a posting! 🙂 I hope it’s ok with you guys that this might have to be an extra long post coz I’ve got 2 days worth of stuff to write about in here.

Anywho, last night as you’re probably very well aware was closing night, and boy was it a goody! We ended on a roar and a bang and it was a stunning way to end 4 months of really hard slog… I enjoyed every second of it and I love the experience and I can’t wait for the next one! 🙂 I wonder what the next one will be? And when the auditions will be held? Coz I’m definitely doing it again.

Anywho, the reason why I didn’t come and right up yesterdays stuff up last night was because true to form after the end of all good musicals we had an after party. It was pretty pumping and I do have to say that everyone was very much on form and the drinks were flowing and I didn’t get home until 2:30am hence the reason why I didn’t stay up to do an entry. After about 3 Vodka Cranberry’s and a glass of wine… all my thoughts pretty much just lay in the area of sleep when I got home! I pretty much just washed my face off and was pretty much sound asleep by 2:50am! Heheheehehe.

Anyway… Shall I tell all?

Saturday:
Breakfast: Banana, Yoghurt (99% fat free) and Muesli made with trim milk. Also a cup of coffee made with trim milk and a couple of glasses of water.

Lunch: Carbonara Flavoured Microwave Pasta

Dinner: Country Chicken Soup

Supper: (don’t judge me… we were drinking, we needed to have something to put in our bellies) A couple of slices of pizza and bread with cheese and some Doritos also.

So yes all that as well as about 3 Vodka Cranberries and a glass of wine… anywho the real naughty stuff is saved for later…

Sunday:
Breakfast: Banana and a cup of coffee made with trim milk.

Brunch: (organized by the people I did pack out with! 😛 ) A small pancake stack

Afternoon Tea: Half a scoop of chips… 😛 Yea… great post drinking cure but rather naughty!

Dinner: Tagliattelli Pasta with Alfredo sauce (only enough to coat the pasta, not drown in it)

So yea, that’s pretty much it… Of Course as far as exercise is concerned lots of dancing around on Saturday night… before and after the performance, the after performance dancing was slightly aided by alcohol however! Hehehehehehehehe! 😛 As for Sunday, it was Pack out day, so I did a lot of walking around the theatre, going up and down the stairs numerous amounts of times and going up and down the exceptionally long corridor. After that though, I was quite exhausted and spent pretty much the rest of the day in bed! I know, I know, lazy! But I was exhausted!

Cold weather and swollen toes…

Hi people who love people! 🙂

How are we? I’m fabulous… super duper tired… very cold and the swelling on me toes have returned. So I’m unsure as to whether I should amputate it or not. Nah! I’m kidding! I don’t want to cut off a toe! 😛

Anywho, I doubt this post will be a long one coz I’m rather tired and I haven’t really got anything interesting to report so I might just get right on with it aye?

Lunch: Mince Pie (yea… I know, this is the second time this week I’ve eaten a pie, but seriously!!! It’s so friggin cold that I don’t even think that I could eat something that wasn’t hot, if you know what I mean, I will probably pay for it though… 😦 never mind, no more pies)

Dinner: Traditional Pumpkin Soup (Yum!)

Bit of walking around at tech and to and from bus stops and all that. So there was a bit of physical exercise today before the ubiquitous boogie on down business at Witches of Eastwick! 🙂

How you guys doing? Apart from being unfeasibly sleepy I’m fantastic 🙂 oh… and I have a wee bit of a sore toe too… but what else is new? Lol!

Still trying to get my head around the fact that there’s only 2 more shows left in the season. I seriously don’t know what I’ll do with myself once it’s done. I guess I’ll have to do the next one that comes along… I really love doing the whole musical theatre thing… I’m pretty sure I’m born to do this. So please… if anyone knows of any auditions happening locally… let me know and I’ll show up and try out! 🙂

Anywho… let’s carry on shall we?

Lunch: Petita (meaning small) Pita Pit pocket in Chicken Caesar flavour… with lots of veges like lettuce and avocado, cucumber, tomato, carrots, mushrooms, red onions, pineapples and cheese with Teriyaki sauce.

Dinner: Mushroom Soup

Yea, another hard out night at Witches exercise wise… also there was a bit of up and down of the old stairs business… 😛 So I think we might be back in business, or so I’m hoping.

Still cold! Snow damn you!

Hey guys…

How are you? I’m great, except it’s bloody cold… I know it’s winter and everything and that’s what it’s supposed to do… but hey, if it’s going to be this cold it might as well be interesting and snow for us, I’m not wrong am I?

Anywho, had another rousing evening at Witches of Eastwick tonight… not a large audience, but they were a good one, we had a wee cackler in the audience and it was great… In all honesty I’d much rather perform in front of a small yet appreciative audience than a large unresponsive audience.

I have a feeling tonights blog posting is not going to be a long one, so shall I?

Breakfast: Yoghurt (Yes, just yoghurt, I’d run out of Muesli and Bananas… how unfortunate… luckily I went shopping today… it was 99% fat free though)

Lunch: Chicken & Mushroom Pie (hey I know… it’s a pie but I have my reasons, being it did not get higher than 8 degrees today and I needed hot food and well, salad isn’t very warm now is it)

Dinner: Chicken Chowder (yum!)

So I told you it wasn’t going to be a long post… lots of walking around at tech today too, as well as a walk around the supermarket all that on top of shaking my thing on stage for Witches… 🙂 So it was the most exercise filled day thus far for the week… 🙂
