One week in… plus weekly weigh-in

Good evening my avid followers! (If I have any! 😉 )

My oh my what a lovely day we had? In fact so lovely I got all my washing dry in the one go, didn’t even need to utilize the ultimate sucker of our power… THE DRYER! (dun dun dun!) I was personally very relieved to see the suns beautiful face today, such a creature of beauty she is, you forget what she looks like sometimes in these cold and dreary winter months.

I also have spent the day (still) trying to break in my dancing shoes… I had them on for about 6 hours today, so long it made one of my toes ooze (ewwwww!) But I’m hoping that by the time that opening night comes I’ll be able to last the WHOLE show with them on my feet, I didn’t do too badly on Sunday, we basically ran the whole show in our costumes and I only took my shoes off for the last 2 numbers. I was pretty surprised to not see blood on my toes in all honesty, they were SOOOOOOO sore.

Anywho, shall we get on with it then?

Breakfast: Banana, Yoghurt (light 99% fat free), Muesli with Trim Milk. Also one cup of coffee made with trim milk and a couple of glasses of water.

Lunch: Creamy Bacon microwave pasta (made with water and trim milk, mostly water) I think I’ve made up my mind that it’s the microwaves wattage that is throwing me off the cooking time. The package said it was for a 720 watt and we have a 1200 watt, so I think I may have to decrease the cooking time so I don’t turn my lunch into a cookie! 😛

Dinner: Lamb Loin Chop (with very little fat on it) and Steamed Veges (carrots, sweetcorn and Broccoli) I had to cook the lamb in oil (Rice Bran Oil) because our pan isn’t non-stick (despite claiming that it is) I did drain the oil off after cooking and before eating. I also to keep my fluids up had a couple of glasses of water.

As for exercises, it’s pretty much the same as it was before, once through the exercise programme. I am noticing that during the burpees I have a habit of leaving my leg behind which is beginning to worry me slightly but I hope that it’s just because it’s still very early days. My knees kept on giving me grief though so I had to pause between some of the push ups because of this troublesome knee!

And now! The moment you’ve all been waiting for! THE WEIGH-IN! (applause)
Now just to remind ourselves my weight at the beginning of this endeavour on the 3rd of June was…
84kgs.
My weight as of today, the 10th of June is..
82kgs!!!!
OMG! I LOST 2 KILOS IN ONE WEEK! (does a little dance) Oh my! I’m so surprised, I did literally have to get off the scales and get back on again just in case I’d read it wrong, but now, that’s what the scales said! So I’m sticking with it! 🙂 I was only expecting to lose one kilo at the most, in fact I would have been happy to have maintained considering all the factors that I explained in my last blog, but to lose 2 kilos in one week? By Golly that’s good! GO ME! 🙂

Here’s to more weight to lose!

    Awesome job!!!! Its so motivating when you lose more then expected!!!! Just make sure you keep up your fluid intake or you could gain it all back so easily. Keep it up! xoxoxoxo

Thank you so much for reading this! 🙂 Mainly because you are my inspiration for this whole journey! ❤ Oh don't really need to worry too much about fluids… I drink quite a lot of water especially at rehearsals so I'm not too worried about that. Again, thank you and you're doing awesomely as well! ❤
